Well, a preface is an introduction to a book written by the author of the book. According to wikipedia, it is supposed to explain how the idea came into existence and acknowledge people who were helpful to the author in the time of writing the book.
So, if I were to write a preface to my blog now, I should be doing three things.
1. Tell whats the blog about
2. Explain how the idea came into existence
3. Acknowledge
I will do it one by one.
I was at the moonlit jacksonville beach 4 hours back. I was facing the ocean and suddenly, I could not help but note the similarity between what I was doing and my current situation in life. I am at that point in my life where I am looking into the vast ocean known as my future. I am in the third year of my Master of Science Electrical Engineering program at the University of Florida. I am 95% sure that I will be graduating this fall semester. I want to be remembered for some (atleast one) of my technical contributions as an engineer and I hope to find the love of my life before my parents do. Through this blog, I am making a promise to myself, to chronicle the events of my life enroute to achieving these goals.
Oh....yeah at this point I acknowledge the help of blogger.com for helping me write this.
